this is Awkward…
My husband is on the Liver Transplant list at UW Medical Center in Seattle and though we are getting great care and support, organ transplants are very expensive and some of the costs of meds, transportation, post-op relocation, and so on are not covered by our insurance.
Since Mr. Kat is on disability and my work has been suspended to care for him, we have a very limited income. So I’ve set up a funding campaign with a non-profit foundation—Help Hope Live. All donations are Tax Deductible and the money is managed by the fund, so it only goes towards his bills and verified expenses, and can’t effect his disability benefits.
