Kat Nap

These were taken with a Fuji Finepix 4700 on auto, normal detail, 2400x1800 res. In GIMP, I cropped and scaled the original, flipped into grayscale, then applied oil and canvas filters to the face and hand close-ups. Additional highlights had to be airbrushed onto the large hand, as the filter destroyed the real-life highlights of the noon sun through the window. There's some color artifacting at the tips of the knuckles which was rendered in the grayscale close-ups as blur.
